Preparing schedule from the stage of purchase to vendor development mentioning exact delivery period; identifying requirement of raw materials & vendor items as per customer schedule available inventory.

Determining the requirement of material.

Following up for vendors and conforming the availability of material; holding direct technical discussion with vendors for finalization of orders & commercial terms; undertaking reconciliation of vendor rejection.

Quality Control

Developing a framework of quality standards, procedures & systems and overseeing smooth implementation in shop floor and at Supplier end.

Mapping quality assurance process, conducting requirement gathering, studying and analyzing workflow to design solutions; promoting quality and performance improvement throughout the organisation.

Assessing the performance of vendors based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement rate, etc.; planning & carrying out process audits at vendor’s end.

Rejecting materials found nonconforming and collaborating with the supplier and project supplier quality personnel to identify a course of action to achieve satisfactory disposition of disclosed non-conformances.

Ensuring tests and inspections are properly understood, carried out end evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary; supporting PPAP Audit at Supplier end; also conducting process capability studies.

Undertaking customer complaint analysis; undertaking APQP status review on a periodical basis.

Preparing and maintaining documentation such as NPD Documentation (PPAP, SPC, MSA, CP, FMEA, PFD, PSW, etc). CP, FMEA, PFD, WI, etc.

Team Management

Leading a team of around 350 People. Training & Developing of Team members in Spray and Repair skills.

Developing of leaders in problem solving & analytical abilities.

Holds the distinction of enhancing the productivity of Plastic Painting Line upto 26% by rearranging the Hangers.

Played a stellar role in improving the Painting Process by:

• Developing an Inspection System for Painted Components and Process.

• Implementing around 100 methods improvements and 50 Poke Yoke (Mistake Proofs) in Paint Shop.

Excellent track record of reducing process scrap by preventing falling of components in tanks during pretreatment.
