1990-1996
I was a sub-contractor for various companies. Using AutoCAD, I spent a couple of years drawing commercial and industrial aluminum handrails and ornate aluminum gates and fences. I also spent a few years doing some mechanical drafting. This consisted of doing detail and assembly drawings of balers and shears. I was hired on to Harris Group in 1994 to transfer board drawings for a large shear onto AutoCAD. This shear was being sold to the Russians as part of the Lugar Fund to shear their old submarines into scrap metal.
