• Conceived of and implemented the redesign of a water reclamation system allowing over 40 large concrete cisterns and pump systems to be eliminated from the design of a Caribbean resort. This redesigned provided significant schedule, cost and operational savings.
• Created construction cost and schedule savings, as well as facility operational savings, during construction by performing detailed pre-construction constructability reviews.
• Effectuated a major MEP re-design by identifying design inadequacies and prevented the need for a major increase in size/scope of a water treatment plant and a waste treatment plant included in the project scope.
• Improved quality control efficiency by creating a materials testing lab on-site. Prior to this effort, it was necessary to ship all samples off of the island to be tested in another country.
• Successfully managed the demolition and removal of an existing hotel structure, and the importation of 85,000 yards of fill material.

• Successfully managed a 16,000 ton structural steel subcontract for the simultaneous erection of 4 structures in a $600 million hospital project.
• Responsible for revising a schedule that enabled 3 months of weather related delays to be recovered, and allow turnover by the clients’ initial deadline.
• Conceived of and created a New Hire Mentoring Program resulting in improved employee knowledge and productivity.
• Successfully managed a $39 million design-assist subcontract for the carpentry, fireproofing and exterior skin of the building including, extensive themed elements. This effort included the incorporation of over 80 major design changes and 5,200 RFI’s from ownership into the aforementioned contract, while tracking over $3 million in associated additional costs.

• Instrumental in the construction of a 360,000 sf design-build office building and 2 parking structures. This project was completed one month ahead of schedule and $5 million below the clients’ budget. Upon completion, this project became the benchmark for which all of the clients’ future office buildings are gauged against.
• Responsible for the development, institution and supervision of stringent air and soil monitoring procedures for earthwork performed in highly contaminated soil.
• Developed weather sensitive schedules to ensure construction could proceed without interruption.
