Description:

The project is data warehouse for storing the banks financial data. It receives the information from various upstream systems and after doing the processing, the data is stored in DB2 tables. We dealt with the branch originations loan and their booking related errors free system to user who provides customer support to users while booking a loan through WEB or through household gateway.

Description: This project is a part of Household’s Consumer lending project that deals in lending business system providing solution to mortgage and lending system.

In this project, which is part of LMS, basically implements the six-sigma approach. Payoff reporting system generates the report of particular customers who are short-listed by the Household to give away special offers. Here report being generated is daily, weekly or monthly. So based on business rule set by the organization report is generated and based on that report, customers are selected to payoff their previous loan on lower rate. For these filter criteria on leads to be applied, business rules are consolidated at one place to generate the report efficiently so that errors can be minimized.

Modules worked on:

1. Lead management system: Extracting business rules from exist system and arranging them into our new modules , changed the existing business rules to incorporate the new one .

2. LMS: Maintaining balance of business rules between existing system and the process we developed.

In Lead Management System, The basic information related to probable customers (called leads) of household is provided. Details like property, employment, family, asset, creditor information that is required to approve any type of loans for that probable customer, so once the basic details are extracted, depending upon his credibility, underwriter approves the sanctioned amount for that lead. This project deals with lending system as well as mortgage serve system to provide basic information required to find out the credit bureau information of that lead so that a approver can get all the necessary equipments to take a correct decision and issue a loan to that lead.

Description: PARAGON insurance group is one of the leading insurance companies in U.K. having large number of policyholders. Apart from life insurance, they provide a wide range of insurance policies such as Accident Insurance, Auto Insurance, Commercial & Business insurance, Home insurance, Health Insurance, etc.

As per the recent surveys conducted on female mortality, they found that the rate has gone up from 51 to 63 (per thousand); this is confirmed by company statistics. This resulted in higher no of claims related to death among females. This was major drawback, as company suffered loses due to increase number of female mortality.

This project lists the customers who are females and send a notification saying the new premium to be paid by them. Also it is extended to pay requirement of new plan being introduced. Here the insurance company also gives some benefits to the female customers. Further it calculates new premium as per company requirements.
