My tasks
• Investigate any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which happened in the workplace.
• Duty as EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) core team as per regulations.
• Head of safety committee who are following highest percentage of safety instructions
• Coordinate and monitoring Hazard Identification Risk Assessment
• Collect, analyze and maintain statistic on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease at workplace.
• Receive approved quality plan from DGM and proceed accordingly.
• Study safety policies issued by state law HSE (Safety Manual & policy, Safety forms, & any other safety issues).
• Prepare & Identify requirements for successfully implementation of safety policies.
• Manage and Prepare training reports, minutes of meeting distribute to respective project.
• Follow up with project manager to ensure that the Project staff is following up Safety measures and submitting reports.
• Lead meetings with Safety officers /staff /workers to remind about the following:
Personnel Housekeeping protective equipment; Power tools Hand tolls Assembly point Scaffolding
any other subject as needed Fire fighting.
• Maintain and record training reports, minutes in coordination with the Personnel and Administration Department.
• Identifying safety signboards, signage and other educational materials to be installed at site.
• Define standard covered by Safety policy communicate to all sites.
• Conduct training to project staff / safety representative to discuss the possible hazards regarding safety while executing projects.
• Communicate the safety standards and its monitoring tools to site safety representatives and ensure that they understand and implementing accordingly.
• Brief and guide to take necessary preventive measures to avoid such hazard.
• Forward immediate actions for violating safety instructions in coordination with safety representatives.
• Raise the Follow up Report on weekly basis (this period may change according to the DGM directions
• Ensure that entire employees in the company are aware of Safety Policy.
• Follow up with Personnel & Admin Manager for timely insurance and renewal.
• Establish procedures and policies for safety department compliance with ISO 9001:2000 and safety standards.
• Make sure that all employees in the department are following the safety requirements as per the approved HSE policies & procedures.
• Coordinate with the Main Store and Purchasing availability for safety material.
• Ensure first aid box, fire extinguisher/blanket etc. within site maintained.
• Arrange with site or main store to maintain separate safety materials log regarding receive, issue and stock in order to monitor efficiently.
• Managing the weekly management meeting and follow up the action assigned on the specified dates without any delays.
• Improve the performance of the Department staff and procedures following ISO 9001:2000 in coordination with DGM.
• Make sure that all employees in the Department are aware of Company Quality Policy, Objective and the ISO 9001:2000 system.
• Performs any other similar duties assigned by the DGM.
