Resume:

Tim is the Managing Partner, Business Development Executive and IT Service Management (ITSM) practice leader at IT Advocacy. This business has been growing and profitable since Tim started the company two years ago. He recently sold a significant engagement and served as the primary architect for an ITSM improvement project at a major for-profit University with over 80,000 students and 15,000 employees. This included process, policy, tool, strategy, governance and tool transformation with the goal of reduced cost and improved operational efficiencies.

Tim started IT Advocacy after serving as the VP of North America for Quint Wellington Redwood; an international consulting organization specializing in ITSM / ITIL consulting and training. While at Quint Tim grew the business while increasing profitability. The majority of Quint’s business was performed through Channel Partners in the US and Canada. During his tenure the number of partners doubled and sell through of Quint services increased by over 50%.

Prior to his experience with ITSM consulting, Tim worked at Verizon Business where his focus was on Product Management and Business Development; which encompassed architecting and promoting IT solutions that complimented and enhanced Verizon Business’s core network services. This included partner development with companies such as Cisco and EMC; with whom he defined a joint solution that enhanced the sales of each company’s products and services. In this position he used his partner development, solution architecture and solution sales experience to improve large system sales of products and services. In addition, Tim conceived, architected and launched multiple packaged IT outsourcing solutions that complimented Verizon's IP and Optical network solutions using both partner and Verizon Business products and services.

Tim also has extensive experience in Product Management and Marketing in hardware, software and SaaS entrepreneurial companies. He has conceived, defined, developed and launched numerous products and services into the marketplace.

Tim’s experience in business, engineering and IT gives him a solid basis for understanding new technology trends and their application to real world solutions. It also helps when working in collaborative environments with people of varying technical abilities, since he can communicate with each on a level of mutual respect. Tim applies his background and experience into every alliance and customer engagement; which both helps on the front end of architecting solutions and on the backend of delivering valued technology and business solutions.
