* US parts manufacturer, producing advanced pipe and hose assemblies for automobile air conditioning, commissioned and designed up to two years before production.
* Team Leader leasing directly with client companies (internationally) and directing two skilled technicians in prototype sampling projects that entail hand building assemblies and cables routing to fit bonnet space based on original engineering drawings and actual size test replicas in aluminium.
* High levels of precision and quality control using 3D measuring equipment and specialist tube forming tools (presswork) supported by extensive leak testing.
* Most projects include considerable design modification and all stages are documented in detail for later use by production engineering.

* Engine re-manufactures and development for performance race and rally purposes and road-going petrol and diesel vehicles of all types - please see client list on previous page.
* Consultancy to EWS engines to manage and fulfil a complete programme
of race engine manufacture and another project for the manufacture of components in the restoration of classic car engines.
* Specialist machining, engine evaluation and troubleshooting for many clients on a wide range of engine types including car, commercial, petrol, diesel, 2 stroke, 4 stroke and performance/race engines.
* Some dyno testing.

Began as an Apprentice, with two years at the Technical Training centre before experience at the Engine Plant Tool room, the NC/CNC Machine Section and for a short time seconded to the Engine Evaluation Section.

INTERESTS: Completed the renovation of a cottage in Brittany, riding, Dingy sailing, preparation and competition of rally cars to International Standards with several class trophies in Club and National events.
Completed PPL pilot licence Nov 2001, and added Night rating in Oct 2003, currently undertaking IMC rating. Member of Popular Flying Association, and I've also completed building a Vans RV9A light aircraft. Designed and Project managed the installation of firewall forward engine installation of WAM120 diesel engine into this aircraft.
