I am looking for a Quality Management or Quality Engineering position in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

I am experienced with many quality systems and methods. I am proficient in managing operations in ISO 9000, TS 16949 and ISO 14000. I have also worked with many customers certified to AS 9100.

I have worked in a variety of industries during my career and have found my accumulated experiences and training very applicable and transferable to all manufacturing companies. I am a quick study when learning new technologies and manufacturing processes.

My metalworking experience includes robotic/hand MIG and resistance welding, metal stamping, machining (milling, turning, grinding & EDM), plating, painting and mechanical assembly.

I also am very skilled in electrical and electronic assembly including PCBs, wiring harnesses and final assembled products.

During my career I have directly managed the quality requirements of companies from the receiving of raw materials to the final shipments of end products. I have worked as a quality manager, supervisor and engineer in a variety of industries and quickly adapt when challenged.

I regularly write quality and operation instructions and train employees in their use. I have "hands on" experience managing in union and nonunion shops ranging from 20 to 400 employees. I am an excellent leader/manager and enjoy working in the production environment.

I am very experienced in the completion of PPAP documentation (APQP and propriety customer formats) and quality process planning. My skills in root cause process analysis are excellent and I have worked with numerous customer documentation formats in discrepancy resolution and corrective action. I have worked successfully in the automotive, medical, aerospace and military equipment industries and understand how to satisfy their demands and requirements and mitigate problems.

I can create and improve quality procedures, inspection plans and policies, then document, implement and monitor their performance. I can monitor and verify adherence to all procedures and methods that directly affect certifications to regulatory organizations.

I am very familiar with measurement hand tool and instrumentation calibration. My blueprint reading includes GD&T. I have performed internal and external supplier audits to identify the efficiency and effectiveness of practices and plan for continuous improvement. I work well with both customers and suppliers.

My computer, writing and verbal skills are excellent. I have developed numerous spreadsheets and databases to improve, control and monitor scrap, PPM, defect trends, productivity, etc.
