Project: Sprint Customer Care Infrastructure
Customer Care Infrastructure gets data from different ‘Switches’ include - - Avaya, Rockwell, Aspect, Symposium and IPCC. Call data from these switches pulled directly from various sources like databases tables, text files and CSV files created by the site for processing. Loading of this data has been done through various methods (Jobs) due to the assortment of switches used or database access permission granted by the sites. These jobs primarily use SQL loader to load the data into the call tables of Customer care database. Regardless of method, this data is loaded into our local database to be used in call reporting.
Reporting:
Billing Adjustment data is mainly used by Program Operation and Executive Reporting Team in the Customer Care Organization. Billing adjustment is mainly an error correction in the customer billing statement. An error is when a customer has been billed incorrectly due to a system or setup issue caused by Sprint. If it cannot be determined that specific charges were caused by a Sprint error but the customer believes this has occurred and insists on a credit, it is appropriate to trust the customer and provide an adjustment after appropriate research has been completed. It is appropriate to subtract the Monthly Recurring Charge (MRC) from the adjustment for the period the customer should have had the service that would have prevented the average or casual charges. A retailer's adjustment request is handled by National Sales Support
