Description: OBIEE over North America data was mainly developed for some of the extra business functions required for the North America data. The Dashboard mainly depicts the Amway Agent and customer relationships. The Dashboard’s are useful to arrange the Agent’s into different categories based on the no of order’s they place for a customer or an agent.

Reports developed were basically used to find the glance views, demand for a hot product which is out of stock. Reports can be used to calculate the amount of freight needed to satisfy unplanned customer demand spikes. Business users can quickly view the information as data is categorized into different Organizations, Product Group category etc.

Data Warehouse Platform Operations

Description: Developing and maintaining Data warehouse.

Data warehouse servers load data around the clock from remote instances. Snapshots commence once the local instance's work day has transpired--end of day. The data is extracted from SOURCE Tables and temporarily loaded in STAGE Tables, where major transformations take place , unwanted data which is not used for Business analysis will be eliminated here and later loaded into DW tables. These Tables are de-normalized and can be used to run aggregate transforms. Aggregated data can be used for by business analytics for decisions, Adhoc querying etc.

Responsible for:

• Using Pl/SQL and SQL code creating new ETL Transformations, mappings, mapplets, work flows and loading data into DW transforms.

• Executing Day-to-Day Operations which includes rerunning the jobs on failure, fixing the transformation for Edge cases and verifying data quality of the tables.

• Monitoring the jobs to meet our Service Level Agreement and to deliver tables on time.

• Handling users adhoc requests in our operational meeting (Office Hours)

Description: This is a tobacco procurement project, and this mainly deals with the purchase of tobacco (Burley and Flue-cured) from the farmer till it reaches Production. This project maintains the details starting from the contracts made by the farmers, Purchasing of Tobacco at receiving stations, Various types of test performed to identify the quality of tobacco like Percentage of moisture present in tobacco, waste materials etc. based on which price varies. Later all the tobacco will be shipped to Warehouses End Of the Day. My role was to generate various reports using crystal reports tool.

Major types of Reports include:

New Farmers added to the business this year, for a particular Receiving station and the type of contract made.

Total amount of Lbs purchased on a particular day for a particular Receiving station
