• Failure analysis take returned bar and single-emitter products and ascertain the problem using microscopy, die shear, leakage testing, destructive analysis, etc.

• Product tracking bi-weekly, monthly, and quarterly tracking of production and yield, also data production.

• Product grading determining whether products are in good enough working condition to be sold/sent back.

• Testing LIV, far field, polarization, spectral, and near field testing.

Wafer Fab Operator, nLight Photonics, Vancouver, WA, January 2011 December 2011.

• Clean room Worked full-time in a clean-room environment.

• Photolithography Exposed mask designs onto GaAs wafers and developed them.

• Etching Etch gallium arsenide wafers using different chemical solutions.

• Deposition and plating deposit different metals and oxides onto the wafers.

• Lapping and polishing polishing the wafer down to a specified thickness using different polishers and slurries.
