EXPERIENCE:

Presently Employed with THE SESHASAYEE PAPER AND BOARDS LTD,ERODE as Junior Manager,looking after operations of rdh pulp mill(including clo2 plant) and projects and development of pulp mill and chemical recovery.(2008 to till date).

PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT DETAILS:

1. Worked with Ballarpur Industries Ltd BILT-Pulp Divison (Unit: A.P.Rayons), Kamalapuram as Asst.Manager- Fibre Line. Joined in the Organisation in the year 2004 and left in may 2008 . The company produces 300 TPD Of Dissolving grade Wood pulp through vapour phase prehydrolysis kraft process. Areas of working-Digesters, Washing (Ahlstrom Drum Displacer), Bleaching(C/DEOHDEP Sequence)& sheeting(drying machine).

2. From 2002 to 2004 with Vaigkunth Papers Ltd as Stock Preparation incharge.

The company produces 60 TPD of Kraft Paper and Board from Recycled fibre.

3. From 1991 to 2002 with The South India Viscose Industries Ltd as Shift incharge and section incharge in chipper house, digesters, washing, screening, centricleaning, Bleaching, Cooking liquor manufacture &Sheeting machine (Fourdrinier machine with Flakt drying).

Exposure to all areas of pulp manufacture as well as to water treatment, refrigeration, size reduction equipments, Gas absorption system, monitoring of emissions & water pollution, mass balance calculations & Sulfur burning system.

Active participation in expansion & project activities enabled me to gain confidence to undertake any responsibility in the field of Pulp and Paper manufacture.

4. Worked as Trainee in The Seshasayee Paper and Boards Ltd, Tamilnadu.

Exposed to paper manufacture, Quality Control, Chemical Recovery Operations, Pulp manufacture from Woo and Bagasse and Recycled Paper Plant,. water treatment,effluent treatment.

PROJECT EXPOSURE

Executed project and commissioned ecf bleaching, odl , rdh (double displacement and standard up flow) pulping (technology provided by glv inc. usa.)

400 tpd wood pulp plant with dcs control system.

Converted bagasse bleaching to ecf.

Dissolving pulp plant expansion from 150 tpd to 200 tpd in siv industries ltd.

Presently working for expansion project of chemical mill to 500tpd and water treatment project.

1. RDH PROJECT and water treatment project and commissioning of rdh& ecf bleaching.

2. Complete process calculations for efficient operations.

3. Reengineering systems of low efficiency.

4. Mill water distribution and rerouting pipe lines.

5. Commissioning and Trouble shooting of Stock Preparation plant.

6. Trouble shooting of Process problems and modification of systems.

• Worked on TATA HONEYWELL-Distributed Control System (TDC3000&R-300).
