Senior IT Specialist for CIBER:
Contract position as the leader of a six man crew to migrate 700 users from IBM to Dell computers running XP without loosing user data or functionality. This project was completed in 90 days and I was asked to stay on as the acting IT manager until they could hire a replacement. Among my many tasks I was able to replace the existing in house network with newer Cisco gear and improve the reliability to all users. This included replacing their old IBM NT servers with newer Windows 2003 servers. Many of the cutover from old to new equipment required long weekend hours to coordinate the active directory and DNS name changes. My daily duties required me to monitor availability and uptime of all systems and databases.
