Managed the design and development of an application specific WWW based, interactive set-top box, utilizing standard Internet protocols: TCP/IP, HTML, HTTP, FTP and PPP. The set-top box provided the consumer an easy to use display, which appeared on their television and connected them with information stored in an Oracle database.
Managed four onsite software engineers and two hardware engineers, using Sony’s PlayStation MIPS R3000 embedded platform.
