History

Employed by Presrite Corporation from June of 1979 to February 2009. Presrite Corp. , 3665 E. 78th St. , Cleveland Ohio 44105 , is a supplier of carbon and alloy steel forgings for automotive , agricultural , aerospace , mining and railroad industries.

Relevant Experience

1979 - 1984 General labor - Which included operating a shear used to cut steel bars into “slugs”. I worked in our quality control department as a hot inspector. This was the inspection process during the forging operation.

1984 - 1995 Shear/Forge Department Supervisor/Scheduler - Responsible for supervising anywhere from 10 to 30 employees depending on current workload/demand. Responsible for the scheduling of customer orders through the department. Responsible for productivity numbers , quality , safety and handled employee related issues.

1995 - 2004 Planner/Scheduler - Responsible for scheduling all customer production orders through the plant. This included creating spreadsheets for each department along with maintaining the MRP system on customer changes. Also worked closely with our inside sales department on any customer related issues.

2004 - 2009 Scheduling and Logistics Manager - Duties included monitoring of the delivery performance reports. Making any adjustments necessary to manpower or system requirements to ensure deliveries we met. Determined forging and shipping forecasts for the plant based on customer demand. Again , making adjustments to manpower/overtime if necessary. When necessary , I would make customer visits to discuss our position with deliveries or any other topics that needed to be addressed. I was involved with the budget process for the plant and numerous 6 Sigma events.
