May 2011 – December 2011) Senior Buyer / Contracts Administrator (contract position) Devon Canada worked on Jackfish 1, 2 and 3 and District Camp projects.

• Purchased and negotiated goods and services and did contracts for Instrumentation, Mechanical, Piping and Electrical packages. Qualified prospective suppliers to do business with Devon. Utilized SmartPlant Material, Contracts Manager, Live link utilized company wide.

(March 2010 – December 2010) Buyer (contract position), Suncor Energy Inc. Supporting Oilsands / Firebag.

• Responsible for electric motor purchases and repairs for Suncor Oil sands and for Firebag. Purchased instrumentation and electrical commodities. Ensured timely resolutions to issues / queries coming in from site / project personnel. Managed vendor relations and completed pricing agreements in accordance to Suncor standards. Represented Suncor with 30 + suppliers. Sourced “Hard to Find” commodities on behalf of the entire Oilsands Group. SAP experience.

Worley Parsons August 2008 – April 2009 Worked on the following projects:

• Managed approximately 120 purchase orders from purchase stage through to delivery. Worked directly with field / site personnel, engineering and accounting and gave approvals for invoicing.

(January 2008 – August 2008) Procurement Contractor – Suncor Firebag , EnCana Wayburn Flood Development Project, Shell Scotford Upgrader Project (Worley Parsons)

• Closeout lead for 2 Suncor projects. Personally requested by Shell to assist them directly with one of their more challenging orders. Purchasing and expediting material for EnCana.

ASRC Tri Ocean Engineering Ltd

• Converted expediting reporting into electronic system and had implemented by the company. • Managed over 70 purchase orders. Coordinated requirements and deadlines with site and with suppliers to meet construction schedules. Resolved problems and issues by conducting meetings and acting as liaison with engineering, suppliers and site personnel. Approved supplier payments and provided relevant information for back charge procedures. Directed continual flow of documentation between Bantrel and the supplier. Assisted Logistics in delivery of commodities. Maintained project files and databases.

(January 2003 – April 2003) Project Buyer/Expediter - Bantrel, contracted to TransCanada Energy Cogen Project, Calgary, Alberta

• Interim project procurement manager (after mechanical equipment procurement completion) including evaluation and award of remaining materials and construction support.
