Objective To obtain a field service/start up engineer position and grow with a leader in the industry of providing wastewater treatment systems utilizing 20 years experience demonstrating success and complete customer satisfaction.

Functional summary Responsibilities included the coordination of field service activities for all of the Biological Clarification division products. Products lines included biological processes, filtration, membrane, digester and control technologies. Services were provided both domestic and international. Ability to manage extensive travel efficiently and cost effectively. Direct supervision of employees including objectives and performance review.

Responsible for aftermarket sales and service in Thomasville.

Able to start up all equipment provided and train the owner’s operators in O&M procedures. Includes but not limited to blowers, compressors, screens, diffusers, pumps, instrumentation, process meters. Also can work closely with vendors coordinating their provided start up and training services. Emphasis was placed on maintaining long-term close relationships with owners/operators to keep excellent marketing references.

Ability to start up and troubleshoot controls, including both relay logic and PLC’s. Working knowledge of Allen-Bradley SLC-500 PLC’s, Siemens S7-200 and S7-300 PLC’s. Familiarity with SCADA. Ability to work with programmers and integrators to correct on site operation of control systems.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to effectively organize and oversee multiple projects.

Strong computer skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Powerpoint. Able to use Baan MRP software. Able to use SAP ERP system.
