• Managed all aspects of a multi-location company including development of business and marketing plans, recruitment, hiring and training of staff, budgeting, P&L, scheduling work and activities, procurement, establishing policies and procedures, performance evaluation and motivation of employees.

• Turned around a company location that had lost $200K from the previous year due to poor performance. Reviewed and restructured accounting and sales protocols, establishing new procedures and controls that reduced bad debts 50% and the receivable turnover from 88 to 45 days. Put in place new performance incentives that increased profitability $180K within the first year.

• Developed a pro forma budget for company owners and the creditors committee that led to the ability to purchase 4 related companies in bankruptcy. Acquisition of these companies brought new opportunities that increased sales for the company from $2.2M to $6M.

• Boosted customer satisfaction through implementation of a comprehensive quality training program for all employees. Distributed curricula and delivered lecture, small group and one-on-one instruction on this important information. Improvements made yielded both repeat and new referral business from our customers.

• Served to troubleshoot a California company location with poor performance. Identified a scheduling issue that left a 3-hour gap between shifts. Reduction of this gap to hour improved productivity 14%.

• Redesigned the workflow of another company facility that virtually eliminated the bottlenecks they had been experiencing. Put in place a much simpler process that improved workflow and the quality of the finished product.

• Researched market demands, and completely converted a company location’s focus from the food & beverage industry to processing for the healthcare industry. Negotiated with location management and customers to get buy-in for the new operation that allowed the company to stay in the black.

• Managed one company facility while simultaneously contributing to the corporate engineering, design, planning and construction of a new healthcare facility in Safety Harbor, Florida. The increase in operational space from 14,500 to 46,000 sq. ft. at this location helped increase sales significantly.

• Coached, trained and mentored employees on a daily basis. Provided assignments of greater responsibility along with cross-training opportunities that moved numerous employees from hourly into successful managerial positions nationwide. Promoted a team-based work atmosphere, provided incentives, and encouraged a sense of ownership in the overall operations.

• As National President of my Greek fraternity, organized our 2,000 plus membership to raise monies for a Multiple Sclerosis campaign. Succeeded in raising over $68,000 as a youth group and received the Hope Chest Award from Shirley Temple Black at their annual convention.

• Turned around the potential loss of a key client by listening to their concerns and then restructuring services of to better accommodate needs. Within 60 days successfully adjusted all services and reestablished business relationships saving the potential loss of $7.7M in business.
