• Created the Process Flow Diagram and Piping &Instrument Diagram for the pilot plant.

• Main equipments designed - Multi-Component Batch distillation column & Mixer settlers.

• Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited(In-Plant training) (Dec 2007)

• Studied the major Processes and equipments in the petroleum industry particularly fractional distillation column and furnace.

• Inspected Fractional distillation column and Furnace personally and studied their working.

RESEARCH EXPERIANCE:

• Master’s Thesis(August 2011 – Present)

• Designed a process for Fluorescent Tagging of Polystyrene – Polyethylene oxide (PS-PEO) Di-block and studied its properties under Fluorescence microscope and Con-focal microscope.

• Studied the effect of Divalent Cation (calcium) on the Phase separation of PS-PEO and Polystyrene – Poly acrylic acid in emulsion phase.

• Adsorption Isotherms of Methylene Blue onto Press mud (Feb 2009- Mar 2009)

• Studied Press mud as an adsorbent in textile industry.

• Studied the effect of change in dye concentration, adsorbent dosage and temperature and prepared isotherms.

• This was presented at “National seminar on clean and green environment” held at Bishop Heber College, Trichy.
