Working with Dalian-Bihai and Mukund Engineering Team for the start-up and Commissioning of Alumina Handling System.

Handling erection of conveyor structures (Trestles & Gallery) and commissioning of conveyor in Alumina Handling System.

Including Air slide system, Dedusting system.

Worked with Outo-Tec and MBE Team for the start-up and Commissioning of Green Anode Plant.

Key Deliverables

Handling erection and commissioning of: BUTT CONVEYOR SYSTEM & RMT SYSTEM (Equipment like: Vibrating feeder, Double roller Crusher, Plate feeder, Dedusting system) and the Supporting building structures.

Handling erection and commissioning of:

o HTM and Liquid Pitch Piping, the most critical and complicated circuit in Green Anode Plant.

o Liquid Pitch jacketed Viking pumps.

o HTM heating heaters from HEATEX.

Completing all the Hydro test and pneumatic test for the HTM & Jacketed Pitch Piping to the required pressure as mentioned in technical data.

Completing all the wet run test of all equipments (HTM System, Pitch System, Proportioning System, Pre-heater, and Continuous Kneader) in Green Anode Plant leading to the production of first anode.

Developing production plans, arranging resources ensuring achievement of targets as per budgeted lines.

Pro actively identifying the areas of obstruction/ breakdowns and taking steps to rectify equipment through application of troubleshooting tools.

Managing project activities right from conceptualization to erection & maintenance of various networks.

Coordinating with the suppliers for the supply of equipments and spare-parts at right time.

Resolving technical issues through coordination with technology providers and with consulting from Outo-Tec.

Maintaining communication with contractors on regular basis for the accomplishment of the project.

Supervising all operational technical activities; reviewing major incidents & taking corrective actions.

Conducting quality controls to maintain the level of quality of service.

Key Highlights

Successfully commissioned BUTT CONVEYOR SYSTEM.

Played pivotal role in the commissioning of one no. of Green Anode Plant in Vedanta Aluminum Limited-Plant II.(1.25mtpa)

Successfully commissioned the wet circuit inclusive of HTM and Pitch circuit.

Accomplished all wet run test of all equipments in Green Anode Plant leading to the production of first anode.

Worked with Rockwell Automation Team for the stabilization of logics as per PID and requirement in Green Anode Plant for complete automation of the wet circuit.
