Involved in Instrumentation concept selection, basis for design, integrity study, preparation tender documents, design review and approval of engineering contractor's design, drawings and procedures.

Involved in reviewing ISBL Front end engineering for Methanol plant, Air Separation Unit & Power Plant. Leading Natural gas to Methanol Green field project consists of the following units:

• Methanol Plant/7500 TPD / Licensor: Haldor Topsoe/EPC:Snamprogetti

• Air Separation Unit/8000 TPD/ Licensor :Linde

• Off-sites & Utilities: Methanol Tank farm/160 MW Cogeneration Unit and other facilities

In Hindustan Zinc Limited India (subsidiary of Vedanta Resource Plc.)

• Head of Department for Instrumentation in a Zinc Hydro Smelter.

• Fully automated plant with Honeywell Experion DCS, and Line Equipment in Cell House and Casting with Siemens PLCs.

• Responsible for Planning, budgeting, Inventory management, and manpower optimization.

• Heading a team of 20 Engineer with an average experience of less than 3 years.

• Fault Analysis along with other Engineering HODs to achieve minimum 96% availability of equipment.

In Grasim Industries (subsidiary of Aditya Birla Group)

Joined as Engineer and started the career in Thermal Power Plant commissioning of 40 MW plant commissioned the complete plant control system with Allen Bradley SLC500 PLC and carried as a maintenance Engineer.

• In charge of the Motor Speed control of the complete comprising more than 250 Variable Frequency Drive(VFD).

• Lead Engineer for Viscose Fiber Plant DCS system Moore APACS from Forbes Marshall.

• In charge of the Project for Complete Spinning Line Control through Digital network (Allen Bradley Contrologix PLC and 1336 series VFDs)

• Member of Plant Energy saving team.

In Alexandria Fiber Company Egypt

• Lead Instrumentation Engineer for the most modern Acrylic Fiber Plant with a capacity of 18,000 TPA as Green field project.

• The plant comprises of Foundation Fieldbus with Yokogawa Centum CS 3000 DCs, Control Logix PLC from Allen Bradley on ControlNet.

• Responsible for the FAT of DCS and PLC System.

• Got an appreciation from Management for the contribution to project.

• Checked P & I diagram for all the Departments of Acrylic Fiber projects & finalization of specification and placed the Indent of all Instruments to the suppliers.
