I am having trouble with bean today, it is closing constantly. Here is what I can tell you. I have interned for South Coast Collaborative for a semester in an all inclusive classroom for children with autism. Second, I spent time in an inclusion classroom for behavioral k-1 students. Here I learned the value of discipline, a one on one approach to learning and gaining the children's respect. They were both fun and challenging. I also worked in an After school day care for Family Service Association of Fall River. Here I got to assist the students with homework as well as fun activities such as crafts, board games and outdoor activities. Lastly, I assisted a reading specialist in classroom for students at risk. Here I listened to them read, helped them with their animal research projects and did preparatory work for class, it was quite enjoyable. I have also been assisting my client on S-d pro and working thru a communications plan. We usually work through fundamentals like letters and matching identification as well as basic reading comprehension, all done by eye gaze.
