GRADUTE PROJECT WORK
Advanced Algorithms
• Developed an algorithm in C that performs maximum cardinality k-coloring of a set of intervals and also wrote a C program on UNIX that produces a list of vertices in the minimum bipartite vertex cover.
Web DB XML
• Developed a bookstore web application where customers can buy books listed in a database using PHP scripting.
• Worked on client-side web programming project using JavaScript and Ajax. More specifically, created an XMLHttpRequest object to communicate with a web service asynchronously.
• Worked extensively on XML, DTD, XPath, XQuery and XSLT in various small assignments.
Software Testing
• Testing a vending machine code using Junit Testing tool. Black box testing approach was used and the testing was done on the basis of Boundary value and Equivalence Path Testing Strategies. A coverage report was drawn using Java Scope.
• Another project included creating of an Automated Test engine that is used to test the UPS and FedEx sites using the HTTP unit.
Concurrent Systems
• Implemented an FTP peer to peer simulation which consists of a client and server using java Monitors for concurrency using J2SE.
• And also tested the application under Boundary value, Branch coverage and Equivalence partitioning testing.
Software Engineering –I
• Worked on a module for SAMS (Study Abroad Management Sys) for University using JavaScript, J2SE, and MySQL.
• Designed Use case diagrams, Domain Model, Sequence Diagram, Class Diagrams and Collaboration Diagrams during the Design phase of the Project.
• And tested the module using Unit testing and Regression testing.
Database Management
• Created a Relational Database for a Video store using Oracle 8i.
• Designed EER diagrams and Mapping Schemas for the video store database.
