Manage OpAns analytical laboratories; prepare apparatus, equipments, SOPs and methods in GLP/GMP compliance.

Lead Enzyme Product Support Team, duties included, product stability, assay development, optimization, and validation for regulatory submission and customer support. Supporting customer technical services, product specification and registration, implementing methods, QA/QC, and GLP in product support lab.

2004 to April 2005: Research Chemist II

RTI International, Research Triangle Park, NC

Lead establishment of a new GLP/GMP Lab, SOP, instrumentation, equipment, and team to develop methods and assays to analyze trace organic residues in multimedia matrices, exposure studies and projects using HPLC, GC, GC/MS, LC/MS/MS, FTIR and other techniques.

2000 – July 2003: Principal Research Scientist

Bayer Crop Science, formerly Aventis, Ecotoxicology Department, RTP, NC.

Study director for GLP analytical projects. Duties included, preparation of technical reports, and related analytical issues for regulatory submission, separations, characterization, method development for organic residue in water, soil, plant, biological media, and formulated substance by LC/MS/MS, HPLC, GC-ECD, GC-NPD, GC-MS and other techniques. Management of Ecotoxicology analytical lab, contractor support for high quality projects and studies, troubleshooting and problem solving of critical analytical issues.

1997 - 2000: Principal Research Scientist

Aventis, formerly Rhone Poulenc, Discovery Chemistry, RTP, NC.

Purification manager, duties included high throughout purification for combinatorial chemistry by LC/MS/UV/ELSD and other chromatographic techniques, separations and characterization, method development, purity, Log P measurement, quantitative analyses support for ADME for animal health compounds, separation and purification of active compounds from natural products, and bio-transformation products.
