Lead the operational design of 3 data centers supporting 3400 federal government systems in a shared-hosting environment physically and logically isolated from IBM commercial clients. Oversaw IT infrastructure for managed hosting services, enterprise systems monitoring and service desk support for public sector Federal programs. Manage cost accounting, scheduling, performance monitoring, reporting and staffing of projects with 25+ personnel. Contributed to bids and proposals relating to the contract.
Key Accomplishments:
• Guided team to architect 2-3 data centers spanning 35,000 square feet of raised floor space, with plans to double annually over the next 5 years.
Identified, met or exceeded 32 major milestones, including:

Seamlessly planned/hosted 30 NASA projects, entailing bids, proposals, equipment acquisition/installation and contractor management.
Key Accomplishments:
• Managed largest Beowulf Cluster in existence, with 1.2 petabytes of storage.
