An accomplished, results oriented EHS executive with distinguished corporate, regional, divisional, facility, and consulting assignments in providing leadership to facility managers and coordinators in implementing cost reduction programs for prevention, corrective action, audits, compliance, cleanup, closure, and contract/vendor management for international chemicals, petrochemicals, refining, energy, plastics, pharmaceutical, automotive and steel industries. Through strong leadership, sound fiscal management, and successful negotiations resulted in remediation and closure of historical petroleum, chemicals, and metals releases from industrial facilities in 26 states and nine (9) US EPA Regions. Significantly reduced remediation costs through risk exposure assessments, engineering controls, and institutional controls. Remediation experience also includes addressing Fortune 500 Company’s non-performing assets through an aggressive procurement of external funding for remediation and Brownfield redevelopment.
