Work Experience

• Civil Engineering Design and Construction of Roads and Highways in the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Cuba 1991-2006

Main responsibilities

• Roads and Highways design using Inroads with Micro Station or AutoCAD as cad platform

• Create the existing ground surface from survey information, design and drawing the horizontal and vertical alignments, profile, templates, cross sections, corridors, transition section, super elevation and volumes calculation.

• Detect and to do an assessment of roads and highways conditions and define the work to be done:

• Rectification and improvement of embankment due to drainage problems or failure due to the continuous action of loads

• Rectification of dips, ditches, gutters, etc

• Manufacture and monitoring timetable of work. Certification and approval of the work according to standards and tolerance.

• Definition of the stages of a project

• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitoring progress

• Control, plan, organize and direct daily operations
