OBJECTIVE: I am seeking a full a full time position as a church media director. I have extensive experience with audio visual and production equipment and learn new equipment very quickly. I also have experience with management of stage hands and freelance technicians. I am a believer and follower of Christ. I have come to the conclusion that I have been called into full time ministry using my gifts and my talents in the audio visual field. I currently am active with the audio visual and music ministry at church, but feel that God has something greater in store for me. I love to be challenged as it presents an opportunity to learn something new. I am looking for a position that will allow me the opportunity to grow technically, as well as spiritually by being able to serve.
PROFILE: Skilled in all aspects of sound reinforcement, sound reproduction, lighting and video production for special events, worship services and theater. Audio background includes experience with system design, operation and set up of various audio consoles, speaker systems, multi-track recording, audio for video, duplication, mix down, mastering, and installation. Lighting background includes experience with operating and set up of various conventional and intelligent lighting fixtures and lighting consoles. I have experience lighting for video and live events. Video background includes experience with operating and setup of video cameras, production switchers, projectors, screens, record and playback devices, interfacing various signal types together and video editing. Computer skills consist of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, HTML, Digidesign Pro Tools, various audio multi-tracking and editing programs and various video editing programs. I am also knowledgeable in minor electronic repair and maintenance of audio, visual and lighting equipment. I also have experience with installation work and putting together bids and quotes for various church projects. I am knowledgeable with computers. I have built several for recording use. I also have designed and coded several websites for various organizations

I attended a 3 day seminar in San Francisco, California at Digidesign to learn about and how to use Digidesign Pro-tools. Studied Pro-tools TDM systems as well as Digi 001, Digi 002, and the M-box.

I completed the INFOCOMM audio visual study course. As well as excelling on the CTS certification exam.

I operated and setup various mixing consoles and sound systems as well as several lighting consoles. Also operated and setup several video switching and processing systems. Some of our work includes live corporate meetings, video shoots, web casts, awards banquets, medical meetings, video walls, large convention meetings and concerts.

I also enjoy carpentry, woodworking, set design and construction. I like building and working with computers, web design. I like art, graphic design and writing and arranging music.
