1993 to 2001
Started as an equipment operator and maintenance person,. Promoted to Night Shift Supervisor in charge of the Plant Production. Assumed responsibilities of the Plant Maintenance Department and Environmental permitting. Started up the Rail Loadout department and helped design the departmental functions and logistics to and from the Florida Customers. Maintain the Loadout system and implement process improvement. Coordinate with CSX railroad on “On time” delivery and pick up.
Reuter Recycling of Florida
1991 to 1993
Waste to Compost facility. Started during pre-construction hired on as Operations Coordinator. Began working with contractors on facility startup, electrical check and equipment construction. Hired all 106 employees and managed their day to day functions. Worked with the engineering department to redesign the shredding equipment to make it more cost efficient and reduce wear. Designed, completed the drawings and worked with team members to construct the new design by the drawings, completed the project and tested successfully. Plant shut down due to community relations problems and the failed aeration system.
Montenay Power Corporation
1983 to 1991
Worked with the operations and maintenance departments working my way to Shift Supervisor in charge of fifteen workers in a waste to energy facility. Worked in all departments from the processing center to the boiler house. Facility operated with RDF separating metals and non-fuel products. Left Montenay Power to join Reuter Recycling of Florida.
