--Help provide I.T. support to a system of 45 users, including printer upkeep, system connectivity issues, and troubleshooting problems with existing and under development systems.

Responsibilities

--Designed and implemented Java and JavaScript based database interface suite for an existing VAX based ambulance billing client and patient system, while at the same time ensuring that the suite worked under existing HIPPA regulations.

--Designed and implemented security login screen that limits access level and selection of applets from the database interface suite, based on login name and pre-set access levels, read in from a secured user table.

--Assisted I.T. director with ongoing transfer of older database tables into newer system that the interface suite was running on.

--Mentoring of SQE Project Support Specialists, project engineers, and program management in software development related to above project requirements.

--Review all project materials, both documentation and SOFTWARE, prior to release, for compliance to company and government contract requirements for deliverables.

--Work with Configuration Management and Software Control Library in coordination of activities related to project artifact releases at various stages of development.

--Perform quarterly audits of projects with regards to Software Process Manual compliance, and report findings to Quality Assurance Manager and program management to help warn for trends, or problems related to current findings.

--Responsible for coordinating and combining the quarterly audits performed into the SQE report provided to higher departmental management.

--Maintaining Software Quality records related to project activities and any related findings or corrective actions in the SQE database.

--Act as SQE oversight to project work subcontracted out to other companies by auditing them with regards to our provided software development requirements

Accomplishments:

--Developed spread sheet to help SQE monitor document and software releases related to a project as well as to centralize SQE quarterly Software Process Manual audit records as audited by Software Quality Assurance.

--Developed process to enable SQE to capture release data electronically, removing the need for past maintenance of large amounts of paper records.

--Assisted in the incorporation of DO-178B requirements into the existing SQE process checklists based on existing SPM processes.

--Developing process to centralize the release process status using Lotus Notes mail-in database with automatic agents to notify approvers and approves as to the state of the release, and what approvals are still required.
