- Implemented query processor components such as parser and execution engine and query rewriter for logical query plan optimization using JAVA

- Implemented the text parser, token indexer and query processor for batch processing and live search and also performed content based page ranking of the obtained results using C++ STL’s.

• Machine Learning : Regression on Page Relevancy & classification of Hand Written Digits

- Training a regression model to predict the document relevancy labels given queries in MATLAB.

- Training classification models to classify handwritten digits by extracting features from training image data

• Applied Cryptography : Grade Reporter - Probabilistic Encryption of Grades

- Encryption achieved through probabilistic key cryptosystem named Elgamal and graphical user interface was designed using JAVA Swings

- Implemented peer to peer protocol named PingPong and a basic subset of the Bit Torrent protocol in C using open tracker, though which a requesting client (leecher) was able to download files from the other Bit Torrent clients (seeders).
