Accomplishments/Community Services:
In 2007, I organized and implemented plans for a charity drive to help Pinecrest Presbyterian Church build a new building. I found the sponsors to provide the food and beverage for all who attended.
By 2007 the City of Pinecrest was down from 57 police officers’ to 17 due to no benefits offers. I and other members of the community of Pinecrest decided to get involved through the collection of residents signatures and meetings (with the mayor, police and residents). We were able to have the City of Pinecrest provide the police officers with a health and retirement plan among other benefits. As a result, by the end of January 2008 we had back our complete enforcement of police officers with full pension and benefits.
In 2009 I participated in a fundraiser for the Animal Welfare Shelter in South Miami, FL.
