My most previous employer, Benteler Automotive, is a major automotive supplier that gave me the opportunity and experience to serve a high demand customer base. Our customers expected excellent quality, and I strived to ensure they received the best in the most efficient way possible. I recently graduated with a B.S. in Accounting. I have lived in the Auburn-Opelika area for the last six years and just recently decided to relocate back to the Huntsville area.
I started at Benteler Automotive in August of 2006. I began as a machine operator, but quickly moved up to an automation technician trainee. In May of 2007, I joined the logistics and materials department as a shipper/receiver. From there I became a materials planner for Mercedes production and in spare time processed accounts receivable/payable. My position required the ordering of raw materials from several different suppliers to protect production and customer schedule agreements. I gained extensive knowledge in SAP (BP1,PAM), MRP, and JIT. Another key aspect was to procure third party inspectors to ensure the quality of material received was to customer standard. My ending title was Materials supervisor.
My time with Benteler Automotive has been an enjoyable growing and learning experience. The skills I acquired with Benteler have given me the experience I need to perform the job responsibilities desired by your company.
