--------SUMMARY--------

As you can see from my past work history, I have a great deal of experience in the planning and overseeing of the work of maintenance staff, to ensure safe and efficient operations of whatever facility I’m involved with. I’m also experienced in maintaining the upkeep of buildings and grounds, as well as upkeep of machinery needed to operate and maintain the facility.

In addition to directing the work of subordinates, in areas of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and carpentry, as needed, I have always believed in leading by example. So, although I’m an excellent instructor in these areas, I’m also a TEAM PLAYER, and perfectly capable, and willing to perform maintenance duties myself, and am quick to learn job specific tasks and equipment that I’m less experienced with.

I’ve been to many countries through the years, and experienced many different cultures and lifestyles, and have excellent Interpersonal Communication skills, so I can find a way to get along with anyone, regardless of the situation. Turning a negative situation into a positive experience for everyone, is a responsibility I don’t take lightly, however, it does seem to come easy for me.

I may not necessarily have ALL the required skills and knowledge needed for all the equipment used in the Pulp & Paper industry, but I basically grew up in the Timber Industry, from bumping knots on the landing, driving skidder, falling trees, and driving Log Truck, to working in Retail Lumber Sales, and finally Contracting Residential and Commercial Construction, so I’m ready to advance my skills in this area, as well, and I hope you can find it in your heart to give me a chance to prove myself in your industry. I Promise you’ll be happy you did, because I’ll increase production, and make you proud.

As a show of good faith, and appreciation of this potential opportunity, I’m willing to start out at a lower rate of pay than you have listed for this position, until such time as you feel I’ve proven myself to be an asset to your company, and I’m also willing to sign a long term contract until retirement, if needed.

Thank you so much, for your consideration.

Regards,

Philip Rowe.
