Research October 2011 to April 2012
On October 2010 to April 2012 I was doing my thesis work for the degree of
Pharmaceutical Chemist Biologist in the Area of Chemical Sciences, Health
Sciences in Radioimmunoassay Laboratory located in The Regional Center of
Nuclear Studies (CREN) of The Autonomous University of Zacatecas. In this
paper we conducted a qualitative and quantitative analysis of pituitary
hormones and trigger disease, for which the quantification of Growth
Hormone (GH) and Somatomedin C (IGF-I) in the laboratory by highly
sensitive techniques such as radioimmunoassay, in vitro analysis.
In this paper we analyzed samples from patients with a disorder in hormone
secretion of GH and IGF-I. A study of 20 patients of which 7 were men, 2 of
them children, 13 women one of them children. Predominating both hormones
high in most cases. Elevations in hormone titers showed more pronounced in
women, whereas men also showed a marked increase in the values obtained.
