Project Name : Identification & Measurement Of Harmonics

BRIEF OVERVIEW OF PROJECT:

This project was conducted at Instrumentation Department, Central Power research Institute(CPRI), Bangalore.

Power system harmonics are integral multiples of the fundamental power system frequency.Fast growing of power electronics application in power system leads to harmonic injection into the system by switching devices and non linear loads. Hence Digital Signal Processors are fast mitigating equipment with accurate measurements to deliver the quantitative power to sensitive devices.

The supply to the phantom load source with the harmoni generator was tapped and given to Digital Signal Processing Kit TMS320C6713 and identification was performed by the C program that works in Code Composer Studio software.
