Quality Assurance Manager, Lotus Notes Contacts/Mail/Calendaring & Scheduling, 10/2004 - present

Managed a Global Team of 15 Testers for the Notes Client Contacts, Mail, Calendaring & Scheduling Features and our new LotusLive product (SaaS). My responsibilities included the scheduling of test, tracking issues, software problem reports and resolutions, working the support team on specific customer problems and concerns. Facilitated communication within the team by chairing weekly group meetings, one-on-one meetings and periodic joint Dev/QE meetings. Also responsible for yearly reviews, load balancing and priority setting.

-- Implemented 4 Levels of automation phases which resulted in being able to do more with less.

-- Delivered a daily automated build verification test and provided automated regression testing prior to each release. In turn the team was able to deliver high quality software and meet every deadline.

QE Lead for customer scenario testing. Lotus eLearning Management System 1.x, a J2EE set of applications running on WebSphere 5.0. Created test plans, wrote software problem reports and coordinated the testing amongst the QE team.

Started the UNIX Maintenance team for Lotus Notes. Managed the Maintenance team’s efforts in certifying a Solaris 1.1 maintenance release as well as the Solaris 2.4/Notes 3.2 O.S. certification efforts.

Perform Quality Engineering tasks for the Notes UNIX client V3.1 Solaris 1.1 certification effort. Tested UNIX aspects and implications of assigned features. Reported all bugs found, differentiating between Core and UNIX-only bugs. Worked closely with development, serving as the 'Notes expert' for assigned areas. Verified development fixes to all assigned bugs and supplied input as to the risk of fixes.
