Performed 200+ close proximity and outdoor professional displays. This included transporting in accordance with all federal/state/local laws, testing firing systems (limited pyrodigital), setting up shows, following all safety requirements, lead pyro operator, tearing down, and training new persons for my crews.

Group Armory Supervisor: Responsible for repairs and quality assurance on all standard Coast Guard Small Arms for 22 different C.G. units; managed all ammunition, pyrotechnics and ordnance supplies for these units. Served as the senior firearm instructor, managed other instructors, supervised range safety and managed personnel weapons qualifications. As the ranking weapons person, I conducted the annual ordnance inspections to ensure compliance with current regulations for the Group of New Orleans units. I held a secret clearance and was accountable for the security standards and safekeeping for these unit’s weapons.

Gunners Mate: Responsible for the procurement and inspection of all parts/supplies and repairs for 1,000 weapons, civilian range contracts, armorers work and travel orders for the armory and various other personnel. This armory covered 22 states (8th C.G. District) and has approximately 150 units. I ran ranges and conducted numerous weapons program inspections to ensure adherence to Navy and Coast Guard polices in addition to being responsible for security of several hundred thousand rounds of ammunition and hundreds of weapons while transported. My other responsibilities consisted of shipping and receiving ammo and weapons, including all paperwork involved and quality control.
