Early Career Experience 1976 - 1999

* READERVISION, INC., GREENSBORO, NC

Startup business producing electronic message centers using patented energy saving technology. Grew to 17 people before selling to original investor. As Operations Director, helped guide this business to sales of $2 million. Gained two U.S. patents.

* Experience gained in administration, engineering, operations and regulatory agencies.

* Management of up to 15 people. Responsible for supply chain and production planning.

* Designs included parts in sheet metal & weldments, extrusions and molded plastics.

* GILBARCO, INC., GREENSBORO, NC

International manufacturer of fuel dispensing equipment. Accomplishments as a Senior Engineer and then Section Manager in: Budgeting/scheduling projects; cost reduction on high volume items, and designs of sheet metal assemblies, castings, and electro-mechanical devices.
