Birth place: Born in India in 1947.
Education all from India –
• High School in Science, Math and Biology.
• B.Sc. in Science, Math and Statistics - 1968
• Professional Engineering in Computer and Communication Engineering, Instrument and Electrical control as an optional subject.
Status: Migrated to USA in 1997, now a CITIZEN.
Experience in the USA
(A) Elgin city water softening plant – 2002 to 2012
“Position as a maintenance technician”
Trouble shooting and maintenance of the following systems –
(a) Security gates and doors controls.
(b) Flow, level, pressure, pH transmitters and controls from major suppliers such as FOXBORO, ROSEMOUNT, BRISTAL BABCOCK, HONEYWELL etc.
(c) 200-300 HP, 2-6 MGD water distribution GE pumps control.
(d) Chemical dosing of FL, NaOH, NH3, Cl2, CO2, Carbon pumps and Lime Slakers, through Siemens (Wallace & Tiernan) control loop.
(e) Modicon/Schneider PLCs, local and remote (Overhead Water Towers) through fiber optics and radio controls.
(f) Trouble shooting of the plant process through iFIX SCADA.
(g) Cl2, NH3 and CO2/O2 rooms hazard monitoring system.

• 2 years as an assembler for the conveyors.
• 1 year as a QA inspector.
• 1 year as a Manufacturing Engineer for making the conveyor drawing using AutoCAD and maintaining the parts for the same.

EXPERIENCE IN KUWAIT PETROCHEMICAL AND POWER PLANT 1984-1997
Maintenance Supervisor for the Instrument and Control maintenance in the Germen Siemens/ USA CF brown 750 MWe power generation plant using sea water, oil/gas mixed firing boilers steam generation, 10 MG per day water desalters and H2, Co2 and Cl2 generation plants.
