• World Geography Team Leader Advanced Placement United States History, On-Level and Co-Teach World Geography.
• Responsible for leading a team of six World Geography teachers as we plan for the new End Of Course Test and help make the transformation in our curriculum for TAKS to EOC, focusing on the new TEKS requirements.
• Responsible for creating lesson plans, power point presentations, assignments for daily lessons and exams. Responsible for data analysis comparing student performance, as well as teacher performance based on exam results.
• Responsible for planning and conducting team meetings.
• Responsible for rewriting the entire World Geography curriculum at the district level in 2006.
• Responsible for grading essays and other assignments for 185 students, as well as making parent contact for failing students, special education paperwork, failure reports, etc.

o Worked on the Campus Improvement Committee which created and implemented the policies and procedures for teachers and students to follow throughout the school year.
o Worked on the Attendance Committee which made decisions as to which students would receive credit for their classes based on confidential information such as medical needs, family issues, etc.
o Worked on the ACE Committee which is the Superintendents committee that works on the district calendar and textbook adoption decisions for the Spring Independent School District.
o Worked on the Time Committee which looked at the potential bell schedules that the district would follow. Responsible for researching what other school districts were implementing throughout the state and nationwide and then making the proper recommendations for SISD.
