08/2006-02/2007 Andy’s-- I was a waitress. I had to clean the dining area and work the cash register.
06/2007-08/2007 Tobacco worker-- I worked in tobacco as a cropper.
11/2008-02/2009 Bojangles-- I worked as a packer and occasionally worked on the wrap station. I also keep the dining area and bathrooms cleaned.
05/2008-PRESENT United States NAVY-- I am a utilitiesman which in civilian life is a HVAC/ plumber.
Relevant Experience
I am in the Navy reserve. I received type 2 certification in HVAC and plumbing. I also have experience in computers and office work. I can make copies, fax, and I am a very fast leaner and willing to learn whatever is needed for my job.
Other Experience
And I also have very good computer skills. I took keyboarding and computer apps 1 & 2 in high school and I also took keyboarding in college.. I was a tutor in many subjects at the college. They were Math, English, Spanish, and Keyboarding among other computer courses such as power point, word, and excel. I also have taken a Medical Terminology course at college. I am currently taking EMT courses at Lenoir Community College and at the end of July I will be an EMT-Intermediate. I am currently certified in first aid and CPR.
