HACHENBERGER COMPANIES is a diversified investment company with interests in real estate, insurance, hospitality, horticulture, dealerships and e-commerce. I am the Chief Financial Officer responsible for the overall financial operations of all of portfolio companies.

• Coordinating the turnaround of our $120 million distressed horticulture operations

• Developed the entire financial infrastructure for a $15 million hospitality and entertainment project

Chief Financial Officer

Responsible for the overall financial operations of a manufacturer of factory automation systems and specialized vacuum coating systems for the North American operations of a German publicly traded company.

• Developed integrated financial models along with a complete redesign of the operating general ledger account structure.

• Supervised a major clean-up of an outdated and poorly maintained set of accounting procedures and records.

• Tightly managed the cash flow of a highly leveraged operation which extended the company’s life an additional eight months.

Responsible for the overall financial operations of a venture capital backed national fixed wireless high-speed data and Internet access provider.

• Coordinated the company’s first year audit and assisted in the acquisition of equity capital and equipment financing.

• Developed operating metrics for competitive analysis, streamlined the company’s existing financial model and developed monthly, quarterly and annual external and internal financial reporting packages.

• Stabilized the company’s business which was overdrawn on its’ credit facility and experiencing a cash flow shortfall.

• Developed financial models to help senior management better understand the dynamics of its various business units and was instrumental in the accelerated development of the company’s cost accounting function.

• Initiated the implementation of lean manufacturing systems and a formalized strategic planning initiative and finally solicited two major financing alternatives which provided the company financing totaling $50.0 million.
