July 2007 to Present-Human Resource Manager-J-Dak, Inc.
Responsible for all Human Resource Activities. Enforce company policies and procedures, conduct interviews, process employment applications, back ground checks, pre-employment drug screenings, orientation for new employees , plan plant wide meeting and company events. Handle all company benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurances and Medical and Personal leave of absence (FMLA, ADA) etc. Handle W/C claims, start to finish. Assist Supervisors with Disciplinary issues with employees. Track employee ‘s vacation and sick time. Handle all employee’s issues/problems in a timely manner. Process weekly payroll for hourly and salaried employees. Handle other administrative duties and work closely with the Safety Committee to make sure we comply with the OSHA Rules and Regulations.

February 2005 Recruited Company Drivers and Owner-Operators. This was a temporary job, just for a couple months. I was responsible for answering the telephone, processing driver applications, back-ground checks, pre-employment drug testing, scheduling DOT physicals, licensing trucks and filling out lease agreements. I also, handled other administrative duties.
August 1997 to Safety/Human Resource Director-Bowling Green Freight , Inc.
August 2004 Recruiting, accepted driver applications, conducted interviews, drug testing (pre-employment, post accident and random) process driver applications (verify past employment, pull MVR’s, schedule DOT physicals) hiring/firing drivers, lease agreements, annual reviews, handle safety issues, conduct Safety meetings, administer accident procedures all in compliance with company and DOT rules. I also handled company benefits, process driver logs, followed procedures and took disciplinary action if necessary. Handle driver questions/problems, customer service calls, complaints, and other administrative duties.

August 1997 Answering phones, schedule appointments, posting daily charges and balancing.
