• Directed Research: Fall 2010

In the developing and designing stage of a C3088 camera interface.

Details: Designing a system comprising of a C3088 camera interfaced with ML300 board. The project consists of designing software and custom IP to capture image, reformat it to bitmap format, and display it on PC through RS232 interface.

• Website Development: Fall 2010

I. Social Networking Website:

In a team of three, successfully developed a social networking website for a company i-Team Space in Bay area, California. The website was developed using HTML5, CSS and PHP. Database was created and managed using MySQL. The entire website met all the accessibility standards and was W3C HTML and CSS verified.

Website Features: Secured user login and logout using PHP sessions, Registration and profile creation for new users, Dynamically editing and updating user profile, Adding communities.

II. Furniture Store Website:

As a part of coursework, developed a website for fictitious furniture store.

Details: The website included HTML/CSS pages verified by W3C Validator, Form Validation using PHP and JavaScript and Database to maintain the orders using MySQL. The website was designed to meet all the accessibility and usability criteria.

• Concurrent Parallel Programming Projects: Fall 2010

Established a LAM/MPI cluster and designed and implemented MPI C code for Sieve of Eratosthenes and Travelling Salesman Problem on the cluster.

• UART and Memory Interface: Spring 2010

As a part of course work designed and implemented UART and Memory Interface on FPGA using Verilog coding.

Details: The system used custom designed UART and Memory interface block to interface the memory on NEXSYX2 board with the PC. Data was sent to the board through HyperTerminal, which was written on the memory and then echoed back to the HyperTerminal.

• Pipelined Architecture Implementation: Fall 2009

Implemented a 5-Stage Pipelined Architecture using VHDL coding as a part of course work.

Details: For the implementation of the pipelined architecture, designed and implemented instruction decoder, ALU unit, instruction memory, data memory and read-write block.

• Final Year Project (Bachelors): 2008-2009

Successfully accomplished final year project as an integral part of a three member team titled Real time control of an unmanned vehicle with Anti-Personnel mine detection under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Jayant V. Kulkarni.

Details: The project involved application of RF communication and control through microcontroller with feedback of wireless camera.

• Robotics Project: Spring 2008

Designed an autonomous robot for line tracing

Details: The robot used AT89s52 microcontroller and proximity IR sensors. The robot traced a white line on black surface. The robot was designed to take acute, obtuse and right angle turns.
