Description

International paper is an American pulp and paper company, it is also a producer of plastic lids, paper cups, manufacturing for the fast-food giants McDonald's, Wendy's, Subway and coffee giant Starbucks. The wood products division of International Paper was sold in 2007 to West Fraser Timberland Inc., The company currently produces printer and copier paper, envelopes, corrugated packaging and shipping containers, consumer packaging for cosmetics, home entertainment and other retail markets, and food service packaging. It also owns xpedx, a large North American distribution and logistics company. It has approximately 59,500 employees. International Paper was incorporated January 31, 1898 upon the merger of 18 pulp and paper mills in the northeastern United States. The newly formed 1898 company supplied 60 percent of all newsprint in the country.

Responsibility

• Prepared estimation and plan for the conversion project and DLM project.

• Worked on migration activities like Identified the 3.x objects for 7.x conversion

• Worked on data targets migration (around 70)

• After completing the automated migration deleted the 7.x coding from start/ object routines and written the manual coding as per the client requirement (deleting completed oops code and removing communication structure and mention source_fields etc)

• Resolved issues while migrating and after migration as well (settings for delta DTP and applying SAP notes etc)

• Created transport requests for migrated objects

• Resolved data load issues after importing the requests

• Worked on DLM project (Automation of Changelog and PSA deletion).

• Deleted PSA and Changelog data manually with the background jobs.

• Identified the Changelog and PSA objects for automation and sent to SE’s for approvals.

• Activated business content data sources in R3

• Extracted all Modules(SD,MM,PM,PP,QM) of data using LO Extraction
