OBJECTIVE:
I am seeking a Sr. Project Engineer position performing project installations.
ACHIEVEMENTS:
•Developed Auto Sketch drawings of site Utility & WTP distribution systems up to each unit’s block limits. These Auto Sketch drawings were used later to develop or update the official distribution drawings on Micro Station.
•Developed computerized hydraulic models on PipeNet for all Utility & WTP site-piping systems.
•Accurately stated necessary expansions to site distribution systems for the inclusion of new and expanded units on site.
•I reviewed modifications to the site firewater system to ensure compliance with insurance carrier and NFPA guidelines.
•Worked within a team to plan and estimate piping modifications and equipment necessary for a $1.2M Utility & WTP distribution system expansion. Expansion was necessary to support the installation of a new unit on site. System performed as required when complete.
•Approver for modifications to Utility & WTP distribution system piping and drawings.
•Participated on team to develop initial project plan for site energy reduction initiative using data collected by assigned team members. The site energy savings expected is $2M per year.
•Suggested modification while participating on site storm water team that resulted in savings of $1M when the project was installed in 2004 and 2005.
•Installation of a $2.5 million Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer for destruction of residual hydrocarbons.
•Installation of a 120 ft flare with new vent header system and utility headers.
