01/07 – current, Manager of Accounting systems, Superior Fibers LLC
Note: From 2007- 2009 I worked for Superior Fibers auditor but Superior was 90% of my billable time, in July of 2009I began working for Superior Fibers directly.
Created annual inventory procedures for the Reedsville Facility, this has increased inventory accuracy by 200%. I am the Project Manager for the install of a new MRP system in the Reedsville Plant, and upgrade of the current Accpac system, putting all 5 plants in one database sharing the GL as cost centers, consolidation of Vendor and Customer Masters. This enabled the company to better Manage credit limits for customers who order from multiple plants. Consolidation of the vendor master has increased the AP visibility and controls two fold.
4/05 – 01/07 Manager inventory Control, RVSI (DSW) Columbus Ohio
Created a paperless store Inventory control process, which decreased the departments head count, and increased accuracy and efficiency by 3 weeks turn over in transaction and response. Worked with various departments to create data validation check points, which caught errors that needed to be resolved prior to stock ledger closing and created procedures for returns and credits to decrease processing time from a month to a week. Automated inventory reporting process to enable quarterly store count and cut reconciliation time from 2 months to 3 weeks.
6/02 – 4/05 Senior Financial/Systems Analyst, Grote Company Columbus Ohio
Project Manager for a cross-organizational team that reviewed business processes as part of an enterprise software (ERP) project for Engineering and Manufacturing integration. Developed a vacation database, to track the vacation time for all 105 employees, and maintained a proposal database in Lotus Notes, and 4 Access Databases. Completed activity-based unit cost analysis for over 20 functions in organization, which enabled leadership to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for improvements.
