My Accomplishments

My first project I designed was a universal pick and place robot for food processing. I engineered it from ground up. It took six months to design. Fourteen months to fabricate and three days to sell. I designed my second P n P robot using different PLC’s and different servo’s (brushless)and using Grey Code Conversion. Making the machine more efficient by 46%. The result was less down time and less manual labor for system restart. I upgraded the first robot later.. This robot can drive from 3 to 8 axes and some compact and standardized CNC rotations with high torque.

During my time as a Mechanical Design Engineer (1989 – Present) I have realized a number of relevant accomplishments.

Creating a hydrogen fuel cell engine thereby increasing fuel efficiency by 37%. First cell was made from 304 stainless steel. I changed the gauge and it made the cell more efficient than the first one by 50%. By using less steel I reduced the amp draw in half. Using a pulse modulator I produced 8 LPM.

Inventing the Eco Box. A fuel saving device for the automotive industry.

Re designed and maintained various pick and place robots for pharmaceutical and food processing companies. Johnson & Johnson, Eli Lilly, Schering Plough, Abbott Labs, Dos Pinos, KRAFT and Florida Ice and Farm (Imperial Beer) Costa Rica.

Playing a key role in establishing ISO 9001 approvals.

SALES

I developed and closed more than 3 million in new account projects for 4 companies in 3 countries in less than 3 years for a company that was only 3 people fast.

Expanded sales opportunities with food processing companies by innovating new products for a more environmentally friendly and more efficient production. I increased revenue by 20% and OEM sales by 34%.
