• Provided maintenance, operation, controls and testing of autoclave sterilizers, pumps, heat exchangers, vessels, valves, mixing machine as required for the manufacturing of the fertilizers.

• Created pipe designing, planning and restructuring of the plant using PDMS software for plant efficiency.

Academic projects

• Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM):

Worked on Pro/ENGINEER to draft a mechanical assembly in 3-D and used Pro/MANUFACTURE to develop machining sequence for some parts of the main assembly.

• Improved the Design and Manufacturability of Auto clamp (DFM):

An existing design of Auto clamp was taken and improvements were made which resulted in reduction in number of parts and making it more compact, thereby increasing efficiency and reducing cost.

• Design of plastic gear with MOLDFLOW analysis:

Created typical Plastic part in Pro-E and MOLDFLOW Cool, Fill, Pack, Warp analysis of the part for different values of Injection pressure, temperature, clamping pressure, different plastic materials etc. Analysis of the results with different Gate Locations and draft angles, different injection locations and sprue locations. Process optimization to minimize weld

lines, stress concentration, volume shrinkage, part warpage, air traps, sink marks. Evaluated and optimized the product design.

• Lubrication module of a steam turbine:

Designed under Bharat Heavy Electrical Limited (BHEL) Engineers, lubrication piping design in a steam turbine using Plant design management system (PDMS) software.

• Project Management:

Directed team to develop designing modern Green building and worked on Capital Expenditure Report (CER) using various Capital Budgeting Techniques for the construction of LAW school building at NJIT.

• Sprinkler System Design for a Central King’s Building, NJIT:

Designed and calculated Wet pipe fire protection sprinkler system for a given area, according to NFPA13 and OSHA standards. Came up with safety methods of installing water sprinklers and also suggested on emergency exits of the building.

• Literature survey and Analysis of Computer workstation:

Studied various risks and hazard of Computer workstation using require ergonomic principles. Also discussed the mathematical model to reduce the risk and health hazards.

• Analysis of Pocket cup mechanical Assembly:

Analytically calculate the force that acts to restrain the cup and the force that acts to unseat the cup. Formulate a detailed explanation for the discrepancy between the analytical calculations and the physical test results.
